Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DoctorPrep's consultation-practice platform (the "Service") operated by WA Health ("us", "we" or "our").

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of them, you may not use the Service.

The Service

DoctorPrep provides voice consultations with fictional AI patients to help GP registrars practice for the MRCGP Simulated Consultation Assessment (SCA). The Service includes:

  • Timed voice consultations with an AI patient
  • Automated feedback after each consultation, structured on the RCGP's published SCA domains
  • A history of your consultations with their transcripts, scores and feedback
  • A library of fictional clinical cases

The feedback is produced by software from the transcript of your consultation. It is not an official RCGP mark and it is not a prediction of your examination result.

Your account

To use most of the Service you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current and complete information when you register
  • Keep your account information up to date
  • Keep your credentials secure and confidential
  • Take responsibility for all activity under your account
  • Tell us immediately about any unauthorised use of your account

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content
  • Use the Service on real patients or to make decisions about real patients
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Circumvent the limits placed on the free demo

Educational purpose only

DoctorPrep is designed exclusively for education and training. It is not intended for use in medical practice, patient care or clinical decision-making. You acknowledge that the AI patients are fictional training tools, that the feedback is for educational purposes only, that you should not rely on the Service for medical advice, and that the Service does not replace formal medical education or supervision.

Intellectual property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality, including every case, are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute any part of the Service, create derivative works from it, use our trademarks or branding without permission, or remove proprietary notices.

Credits and payment

Your first consultation is free. After that, consultations are paid for with credits bought in advance; one credit is one consultation. There is no subscription. By buying credits you agree to pay the price shown at the time of purchase, to provide accurate billing information, and that credits are non-refundable except as required by law. If a consultation fails because of a fault in the Service, tell us and we will re-credit it. We may change prices; changes do not affect credits you have already bought.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and also governs your use of the Service.

Availability

We aim to provide a reliable Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that the Service will meet your specific requirements, or that defects will be corrected immediately. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or use. Our total liability to you for claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service without prior notice if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. On termination your right to use the Service ends immediately.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may modify or replace these Terms. If a change is material we will give at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
